| Yea, for free food, Donna.
Target sells small gift bags for $1.00 which I didn't know. It saved me a separate trip to the dollar store.

| Since DH bought me a bicycle for Christmas we sold the one we bought at the Council Tip Shop for the same amount we paid for it, so that was good | |

| I've been buying a lot on ebay lately. I spotted some glitter icicles with free shipping. When I received the icicles, I was supposed to receive 20, but received 24 pieces. I contacted the seller to make sure there was no mistake. She e-mailed me back and said she sent me extra at no charge for being a good customer. That was just so nice of her. | |

| I won a $20 Target giftcard in a competition they were running on their Facebook page. They had 30 $20 giftcards up for grabs and all you had to do was suggest a song which you felt should be on their 100 songs of Christmas soundtrack and explain why you felt your song should be included. You could enter as many times as you wanted but I only made two suggestions, I don't know yet which song they chose. I guess that was pretty lucky with only 30 cards up for grabs and goodness knows how many entries Also, not exactly a cheap thrill because it was a big splurge but we finally bought a new fridge/freezer at the weekend after toing-and-froing over the decision for the best part of a year. The cheap thrill (kinda) part comes in where I got 10% staff discount instead of the usual 5% so we took the opportunity while it was available. Plus we'll sell the old fridge/freezer, the layout of which exasperated me no end, to recuperate some of the cost. | |

| Congrats on winning on the gift card Skin! I saw the new fridge , I love it!
I had a friend send me a crockpot for Christmas...we went to school together and are on a couponing/deal site together. I missed a great deal kohls was having but she didn't lol so she shared!
The gym also had a deal, no money down $25 a month for a year so George signed me up and he's paying. I am going to try and go back today.

| Oh I don't know how I forgot this one! I got a new fur baby...his name is Remi and is short for Remington. We started fostering him last Tuesday and by Thursday had decided to adopt him. The shelter only had him for 1 day so they waived the adoption fee! | |

| Thats so sweet! Today we were shopping for gifts, found Reebok tennis shoes for both the sons, they were 80.00 each, on sale for 38.00! Only had few odd sizes left,,(my son wears 12 and the other one wears 11 wide) kinda hard to find sometimes. After we get to the checkout, the cashier was scanning the shoes,,scanned a coupon for a additional 5.00 off each pair for some sale they had going on the shoe dept! Told me the coupons for additional sales was in their flyers! Pays to check those flyers while shopping! The one time I missed it and almost missed a 10.00 savings! | |

| Fantastic savings on the trainers Donna.
Vicki go easy at the gym for a while!
Sissy, my two entries were 'Mistletoe and wine' by Cliff Richard and 'Wonderful Christmastime' by Paul McCartney. I had to state, with each suggestion, why that title should be included.

| Going to to the shooting range tomorrow night to shoot my gun for the first time and then out to dinner with friends. I found a gift certificate on restaurant.com and then found a code on line making a $25.00 gift certificate $4.00! | |

| Vicki incredible saving on the gift certificate. I found a really nice set of a large deep fluted pie dish with four matching fluted ramekin bowls reduced to half-price at a kitchen store which is sadly closing down after Christmas. I bought a red set for our neighbours for Christmas (along with a few other items I have for them) and I bought a coffee coloured set for us. I also found some black trousers reduced from $25 to $12 per pair so I bought two pairs for work...great deal, they have a little stretch (so comfy) and they're the shorter length so I won't even need to hem them. I also love that they're pull on so no zips to break which I eventually do (although I replace zips myself). The last gift I wanted to get for DH was his fave aftershave, it's not an expensive brand but it's really REALLY nice and when I went to buy it the store had it on sale even cheaper than usual. SCORE!!! All DH's goodies are now in his giftbox under the tree and I have just to put DS's goodies into his giftbox in the next few days...I just want to add some of his fave nibblies which I'll pick up at work on Monday. I'm all done for Christmas. We're having some friends over tomorrow evening for a pre Christmas BBQ and conveniently DH got some free beers at work yesterday, I also got some porterhouse steaks at work on special for less than half price | |

| Skin, thanks for letting me know what the songs were, although, I'm not sure if I ever heard the first one. I definitely know Paul's Wonderful Christmas Time. Super deals you picked up. BTW, I "borrowed" your idea of just using an empty box for gifts. I just put a ribbon and bow around DH's gifts and they're ready for putting under the tree.
Vicki - also great deals. Have fun at the shooting range.
