| Today at the grocery I bought 3 bottles of Crest complete mouthwash and 3 tubes of Crest complete toothpaste. Each was 3.99 each, marked down to 2.99 then on sale for 1.99 if you buy 5 items on the "mega sale event" specials they had going on. I had a coupon for all 6 items for 75cents off each, which made each a cost of 1.24. I think I have 9 or 10 tubes of toothpaste in the closet that I either bought for under a 1.00 or was free due to sales and coupons!

| I went out last night with my girlfriend. Unexpectedly, she paid for my supper. She, at least, allowed me to pay the tip. I have such awesome girlfriends. | |

| I know this is going to sound silly, but I purchased Coconut a hat when the temperatures and wind chill get sub-zero. I bought it on e-bay, brand new with tags from Old Navy. I, also, had to buy the mittens with it, but the price was only $8.46 with free shipping and no tax. It's better than tieing a scarf around his head and neck and have him tripping over it like he did last week. | |

| Good bargains Donna.
Sissy that sounds reasonable as pet products can be quite expensive.

| Great bargains, Donna. Actually, skin, the hat is for a human baby. I couldn't find anything reasonable for pets, so I figured why not try it for a real baby. I got him a 6 months size - XS. That should fit him. I finally cashed in on my free stained glass class last night. I had a free class coming since before Christmas, but I took a break for a month. DH's co-worker gave us some of his homemade potato soup. It was so delicious. I called my health insurance company today because my meds went up over 50%. By having them mailed to me I can save over 33% on the cost | |

| I went for a drive this morning with DH while he was running an errand but asked him to drop me at a large thrift shop on the way, and pick me up on his way back. I only bought a dvd and paperback novel. On the way home we both called in to the Council's Tip Shop for a browse where DH found a box set of vinyl lp records by The London Philharmonic Orchestra, he enjoys classical music and we listened to some when we got home. I'm just about to make some Creamy Paprika Chicken in the slowcooker with some 'chicken lovely legs' (love that name..lol) which I bought yesterday at the supermarket reduced to half price. | |

| Awesome amount of freebies Vicki!
My neighbours youngest daughter called over yesterday at teatime with a bag containing some Christmas decorations and wrapping supplies (bows/ribbon) that her Mum picked up cheaply at the supermarket. She wouldn't take any money from me for them.

| Awesome saving on the pork chops Sissy, I love pork chops. Our 'Home & Contents' insurance was due for annual renewal and it was getting quite expensive so we checked online today and changed to a different insurance company with a saving of just over $222. We now have double the legal liability cover compared to before but no flood cover (which only covers for overflowing streams/rivers/etc) which we don't need where we are situated on higher ground. Everything else on the policy is the same for less money. Those savings can go towards a robotic vacuum cleaner that I'm hoping to get | |

| That is a great savings on the insurance, Skin. Flood insurance around here is very costly and is considered a rider onto the original policy. I think the state requires people to carry flood insurance if they live a certain distance from streams, rivers or lakes. I'm really excited about my cheap thrill. There's a crochet afghan pattern that's been on pinterest for awhile. It is a stained glass afghan. The colors are beautiful on it. The pattern is one of 50 afghan patterns in a book. Amazon has the book which costs anywhere from $33 - $35, even on the secondary market. I found nothing on e-bay. So, I was clicking links and came across Annie's e-patterns. The site had the 178 page book originally $19.95 on sale for $4.95. I got an 86% discount by downloading the book. There's so many beautiful afghans in it. Now, all I need to do is catch up on my other projects so I can make the afghan. That's the good news. The bad news is I'm $3.18 overbudget on my credit card for this month. | |

| I would love to start the afghan, Skin, but I have two "must finish" projects ahead of it.
Both my watches needed batteries. I bought one battery at the store for $5.79 and one on e-bay for $2.77. My boss has the tools to fix watches. I had both watches fixed for half the price the jewelers would have charged me for one watch.

| Great savings on the insurance Skin!
Sissy awesome deal on the book. I can't wait for you to post pictures of completed projects. Also great savings on watch repairs.
I was able to score a new to me washing machine for $100. It was my ex's. That he bought 4 years ago but he and his girlfriend bought a house and there was one in there.
