| Well, I think that I might be proof that weight loss can have some rather dramatic effects on your health. At my Dr. appt. on Monday, my doctor was very happy to show me some numbers that prove that a combination of medications and weight loss have made a huge change in my health....my BP has jumped down so low that my Doc discontinued one of my meds so far, my bad cholesterol number came way down just into the normal range, my good cholesterol jumped up 20 points, and my risk level for having a heart attack like my father and brother has jumped way down to a 2% chance, and I still plan to lose at least 12 more lbs so will see how these numbers continue to move.... phew, what a major sense of relief....now I can enjoy the other numbers...the smaller clothing sizes

| Awesome Spirit! I guess I always think of weight loss as for apperance, but it is much much more than that. I needed to realize that...I am very happy for the healthier you!!!  |

| That's great news spirit, you get multiple health benefits from your weight loss.

| Thanks for the support ladies- there are really many benefits to a safe weight loss, I guess this time my health was overriding my appearance reasons. I did this about 12 years ago but my ex-husband was not very supportive at all- this time my current husband has been very sweet and encouraging
