| I decided that I needed to enhance my exercise routine and went down to the closest city recreational center and see what they had and was pleased to see that they had a pleasant and up-to-date facility... I decided to start with a 15 visit pass to decide how to best set up a plan to increase my fitness level ( I will still do my hill walks but alternate them with a workout at this center) The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere very low key....I was hoping to qualify for the senior discount but gotta wait til I\'m 62...oh well My plan is to work on my upper body and use a nice indoor banked track for those days that are too uncomfortable outside... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | Thanks ladies, I was ready for a change....I found a nice selection of various resistance machines to help tone my upper arms and my mid section and I also discovered an 'Elipse' machine that allows me to do some cardio in a continuous elliptical motion than minimizes impact to my knees and feet and also allows a backward motion to work different leg muscles...am excited _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | I'm glad you found somewhere you'll be comfortable working out spirit. A bit of variety will keep it interesting, I hear those elliptical machines are very beneficial. It's just a shame you have to wait on a discount but...hey...that means you're too young eh? _________________ ~ Friends are kisses blown to us by angels ~ |

| Well I have been working out at the Rec. center now for 11 days and am convinced that this is gonna work great for me....my energy level is through the roof, my butt and thighs are are soooo tight, lol and my husband keeps whistling and doing the hourglass motion with his hands because evidently my bustline is a bit perkier, my waistline smaller, and my hips curvier...not bad for an old lady _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand.
