| You guys are doing really good. Yesterday, I started the "3 hour diet" where I get to eat every 3 hours. So far, it is working out well.
I will let you know on Monday what the weight loss total is (if any).

| It is a well balanced meal - where you eat 6 times a day. So far, I have not been hungry.
It is called "The Three Hour Diet" if your library has it.
This is only day 3 - and when I got on the scale, I lost 4 lbs! I'm sure it is mostly water weight...but still. 4 lbs is 4 lbs! I just need to keep it up.
I am running late for work - but will write more about it tonight if I can.
Good luck!

| | My lifestyle is pretty much a 3-hour diet. I eat breakfast at 6:30, snack (1/2 bagel or fruit) at 9:30, lunch at 12:30, snack at 3:30, and dinner at 6:30. I don't eat after 6:30. I tell everyone I think that is why I stay thin. It is easy for me because I eat like a bird (my mom always told me that) I don't like to eat big meals but graze all day. Good luck with it! |

| OK...I now have a few minutes to tell about the 3 hour diet.
Like escarcha, you are required to eat every 3 hours. Each meal should consist of 2 cups veggies, a medium fruit, a protein, a carb, and fat. Veggies/Fruit should be the size of 3 DVD cases stacked up Protein should be the size of a deck of cards Carbs should be the size of a rubix cube Fat the size of the top of a pop bottle
You do this Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Then snacks are in between - and they are 100 calories each. Plus, before bedtime, you can eat a 50 calorie snack. For me, I like to eat chocolate. :-)
Todd and I ate out tonight, but I think I did pretty good. I had some food left over. I had 2 spinach enchiladas, and a salad with some quacamoli on it. I also had 1-2 dozen chips.
We will see tomorrow morning how much of a difference eating out makes.
