I just thought of something that I do to supplement exercise is to park as far away from my shopping destinations as possible within reason, instead of looking for the closest spot.....it also saves a little gas not driving around and around too Cool...unfortunately I do this by myself, can't convince my husband to do this yet...

Gayla, I hope things go well for you at the doctors. My prayers are always with you and everyone here.

I park a distance, also, but I do it in the cold weather, too. The cold helps to burn more calories. I've lost a pound in a week and a half. It's not much, but I actually feel better. Getting off all the processed sugar has made me feel less bloated and heavy. I found out a lot of the woman from my parish are dieting. It's nice to have more support.

That's great sissy. We are looking into making some dietary changes for Ty's ADHD again...so that might help us all, ya know.

You're right Sissy, colder weather itself is no excuse not to exercise...what you need to be careful of is the wind chill and icy conditions under foot...and something alot of people may not realize is that your metabolism continues to work at exercise level for quite a long time after you stop the exercise for the day....this not only a body healthy benefit but a wonderful mood enhancer also Very Happy
