The lab called today and offered us a settlement.. I will let Frank handle that .. they told us I had a fatal disease . Sent me the results instead of my Dr the Lab stampted Fatal and unlined it ... I am so thankful it was a mistake
I Have MS and we live with it every day but when the results said no something Frank and I both fell apart .. I even updated my will and we had to tell our children I have older children but still two younger children Sarah 12 she remembers when my sister died from the disease .. and Mike was so afaird he clung to me , we had to have our Dr explain to him he was so frightened he still scared .. and my Big Kids didnt take it to well either.. Frank lost it ... I saw him cry when his Mother passed and he cried when we had our kids , he cried and held me for several days.

Oh Gayla. I could not even imagine the horror and fear that everyone must have gone through. I am so so sorry and I am very glad it was all a mistake. What a terrible thing to happen

This was such a terrible and frightening experience, not just for you, but the whole family circle was affected. Even though it turned out to be a mistake, it should not happen to anyone. I'm glad it turned out okay in the end.

Gayla I am shocked by this mistake and the unbearable emotional distress that it caused you and your dear family. I am deeply sorry that you all had to endure such a sad time and will pray for healing and comfort.

Gayla,
I find it shocking that such a big mistake has been made. To think they underlined fatal, and to just deliever the results in writing instead of handling such a serious condition in person, this should never have happened. While I'm so glad they aren't your results, my heart goes out to whoever is going to get those results. It's just plain heartless the way this was handled.
