Subject: Prayer for my mom & her husband Fri 28 Mar 2008, 6:11 am

My mom's husband was offered a job elsewhere in the state of Ohio, and he accepted it.

The company both my mom and her husband worked for is neglecting $49,000 that is due to them for various reasons (bonuses, raise that took place about 6 months ago, and something to do with the malpractice insurance). They talked to a lawyer, and the lawyer said with his fees, it will be about double the cost...so they have to dip into a 401k (which they dont have much in considering Doc is 55 years old).

Their house is on the market and has been for about a month now. She hired a service to clean her home and they broke a window and had water stains on her brand new hardwood floors.

Not only that, there are some issues with the new place that Doc was offered a job...

So....if you could please pray for them both through this really rough time.

I know how tough moving can be, and it shows that no matter what situation you are in, there are always quirks along the way!

To have to go through all of this at this time of their lives. They should be looking forward to a life of relaxation and fun, not having to move.

My prayers are with them. I hope things work out for them so they can relax and enjoy themselves.

Gayla, that's exactly what it seems like - they are being taken advantage of.

My mom is in good spirits - she's a spunky little thing (literally. She's 5 ft. tall and always very peppy).

Mom and I met up last weekend, before all of this has happened, and she was telling me about some of the problems they were having with the new company. She knows everything will work itself out, but she wonders if they made a wrong decision in taking the new job so far away.

I appreciate all of the prayers.

I'll pray the transition works out well for them both M. Changing jobs and moving home are two huge steps to take on at once.

M. I am really sorry that they have to go through this stressful situation, and will pray that things get worked out about moving and the new job. Let us know how it goes for them.
