| I left Rachel home today from co-op as she wasn't feeling well still for the second day in a row. The dr said it was the flu let it run its course. I went in to teach and at 12:40 got a frantic call from Rachel but I couldn't understand what she was saying so she texted me I can't breathe. I had to call an ambulance. I met them at the hospital. They had an IV started and she was on oxygen. Apparently she had a severe asthma attack (1st one in 8 years) and Bronchitis and was vomiting. They gave her neb treatments, antibiotics, steroids, anti nausea meds, pain meds and oxygen. I have her home now with instructions to come back immediately if there are any problems. She has to go to the doctors on Friday for a recheck. This was very scary as 8 years ago this month she went into respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest and almost died. I had so many flash backs on my way to the hospital. Please pray for us once again. Thanks my friends _________________ Vicki

| What a terrifying experience for both of you Vicki! Poor dear, she has been through so much lately. I am praying for God to touch her body and bring her relief from suffering, and to bring you both emotional healing as well. _________________ MARY |

| Vickie, I also have asthma and wonder if she's allergic to something that blooms at this time of year? Although you mentioned she has had the flu, (and that will set me off) I find Springtime very challenging due to tree pollens. Using the breath meter regularly at this time of year gives me an early heads up when my breathing is becoming a problem _________________ Dear Lord, help me remember how lucky I am on both the good and the bad days! |

| Well she has not had any problems with her asthma in 8 years. The doctor said she did not have the flu. All her bloodwork came back great!!
She was still very tight today so they gave us a nebulizer and she is doing that every 6 hours. We will have to see how it goes. Right now she is really stressed because of the death of her great grandmother she was really close to(found out last night). _________________ Vicki
