| Well time for an update. For several weeks now Rachel has been sick with throwing up and not getting out of bed much. Last week we figured out it was her medicine she takes for the bipolar and seizures. Her body started rejecting it because of the change in dosage. So for 1 week she has had no meds and she is able to eat but the seizures have worsened. We went to the doctor yesterday and he is trying to change her meds but the insurance com[any is fighting on paying for it. I am hoping to hear something today. We also found out after talking with her doctor (psychiatrist) that the small partial seizures and random noises she makes are not seizures at all but tics and could possibly be tourettes. She cannot actually be diagnosed with this until the symptoms have been around for 1 year or more so we are watching and journaling. This has been so hard for everyone. She and I both are so tired og going to doctors and fighting with the insurance company over meds. So once again I am asking for your prayers. Thanks so much _________________ Vicki

| I'm sorry to hear about poor Rachel's ongoing illness Vicki. I also feel for you and know you must be tired and frustrated. It's good that the new medication has been approved, I hope it helps without making Rachel sick. I'm keeping you and the family in my thoughts and prayers. Please let us know how the new medication works out. *HUGS* _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| Thanks everyone. We had another big one last night at church. We picked up her medicine and she had her second dose this morning. I hope this works. Her next appointment with the neurologist isn't until the end of July and that is at Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC. Getting appointments there is almost near impossible. In the mean time I am still trying to find another doctor to see her. _________________ Vicki
