| I've just received a phone call to attend a job interview tomorrow morning @ 11a.m., for which I applied late on Monday. I'm excited but nervous. It's Monday to Friday afternoons, no late nights or weekends! No heavy lifting which would be great for my sciatica flare-ups! It's also pretty close to home, approx. 5 - 10 minutes by car. I'd dearly love this interview to be successful, fingers crossed. Please, please remember me in your prayers. _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |

| WHEW, that was pretty intense I think that's the longest interview I've ever had at 3/4 of an hour or over!
It seemed to go okay but you can never really tell and a lot depends on whoever else they see. I won't hear back until the end of this week or possibly the middle of next week.
I've also just got off the phone to the store manager at my current job. I asked about the possibility of dayshifts when I return from my holidays and 'leaked' (lol) that I'd just been for an interview. He said they'd rather keep me and he's sure they could find something suitable that would work for me. I'm going to have a chat with him on Monday...so as my Gran always said, it's good to keep a few irons on the fire
Thanks so much for all the prayers and good wishes, I'll let you know what develops when I learn more myself _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |

| I think you probably did real well during the interview Skin with your winning personality! That was so smart of you to let your manager know what is going on and that you are looking.... If you do not get this new job, maybe you will be able to set up hours that would work better for you at least. Would you still have to do as much lifting? _________________ MARY |

| | Whatever happens, skin, I hope it all goes well. Maybe, if you can get the dayshifts at your current job, it will work out for you. Prayers still be said for you. When do you find out if you get the new job? |

| Thanks for all the supportive words and thoughts. I hope to find out by the middle of next week or so. The Assistant Manager spoke to me at work last night saying she'd overheard my call. She suggested they'll work something suitable out for me and mentioned an upcoming position due to an internal transfer. We'll see what next week brings DH isn't too happy with me staying on nights anymore either so that's one more reason to change. Whichever position I may get, if I stay where I am, will depend on how physical the job is but time restraints and intensity will ease _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |
