My friend Jan

Subject: My friend Jan Wed 14 Nov 2007, 10:28 am

Hi Everyone,
I hope you will keep my friend Jan in your prayers, she has just finished radiation and chemo which really wiped her out. On the Monday after Thanksgiving she goes in for blood tests and a PET scan to see if the cancer is gone. She is so tired and worn out and can't eat anything but poached fish and clear nutritional drinks that I want to just hold her tight, but as I can't at this time, I'm praying for her and asking for your prayers too. Thank you

I have been praying and will continue. Hopefully she can enjoy the holidays with a little energy and that the results come back good.

I actually was just thinking about her yesterday and knew that I needed to pray. I am praying for Jan that she will regain some strength and also as she goes through the tests. God be with her and bless you for being such a kind supportive friend.

I spoke to Jan this week, she didn't get good news on her blood tests, we were so certain that everything would be fine that it came as a big dissappointment. The doctors told her the cancer markers may still go down as she had only been off chemo and radiation for 20 day before they did the tests. However, she is still in pain and having a very hard time eating. So please keep her in your prayers.

Teri, I am so sorry that Jan's test results did not come out well, and I am praying that the markers will soon go down. It is encouraging that the Dr. still has hope for improvement. I am also praying that she will have relief from that terrible pain and will be able to eat and regain her strength.

Subject: Please say a prayer for Jan Wed 13 Feb 2008, 1:57 pm

Dear friends, Jan is dying. She is comatose in a New Orleans hospice, she had to be move from the West Jefferies hospital as her pain had required more medicine than a normal hospital can administer. I spoke to her the day she was moved, 2/7. Please pray that she goes home to God very soon as her husband Jerry's health is being severly affected by seeing her suffering. Thank you for all your prayers, they meant as much to me as they did to Jan.
