Akron House

Todd knows someone at work who is related to someone who buys rental properties. He told the co-worker about our house in Akron.

They want to come and take a look at it on Sunday morning.
Please pray that they love the house just as much as I did 4 years ago when I saw it, and would like to purchase it from us, and can deal with the amount we are asking for it (what I owe on it).

It sure would be an answer to our prayers!
We would be able to breath alot easier (and have alot less stress) if we could get rid of it.

Oh M, I pray this works out in your favour and they want to buy it at your asking price (or more!).

I know what it's like having two mortgages to worry about, best thing we did was get rid of one...too much stress and I dread to think how we'd be struggling now with the interest rates soaring.

This would be a huge chunk knocked off your regular outgoings, it'd give you both so much breathing space. I have everything crossed for you Good Luck

I will post it on here how it went tomorrow when we get home. It may not be until later-afternoon. It took them a week to call us to take a look at it - it may take longer for them to decide!

We are meeting them at 8AM, and then getting some things done in Akron while we are down there.

Well, I dont think we sold the house.
We got to the house to find out that the water was turned off because we had a broken pipe. I think the gentleman was looking for a cheap house - I think he wanted something less expensive.

So... now Todd has a pipe to fix in the basement (thank goodness it was just the basement), and looks like we will try to start getting it ready to sell.

Have you and Todd thought of renting the house out yoourself?Maybe that would help with some income on it for a bit..then maybe sell later.

Yeah, I was going to suggest renting also, it would alleviate some of your outgoing expenses for now. Also some investors may prefer to buy rentals with sitting tennants which guarantees and income.
We sold our with sitting tennants still under contract, boy am I glad we aren't still struggling to pay for that with rising interest rates!
