| Answer by ticking your selected choice. ( Thanks to Donna for the topic suggestion ) _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I found this a tough one to select between as I pretty much always compare prices on all purchases before buying. When I do buy clothes I always go for what's cheaper, even if I really, really like something I'll search around for a cheaper alternative. I occasionally buy clothing from thrift stores/ebay and also love clearance/sale items. I do compare when I grocery shop but I don't buy everything in the cheapest range, sometimes taste wins over price I also check around for the best value when making household purchases also to make sure I'm getting the best deal for MY money! So I suppose where I'm 'most' frugal would be clothing as I'd shop for that more frequently than household items _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I chose clothing because sometimes when grocery shopping if I need something for a recipe I don't care about the price if I need it. I wil buy the cheapest but ususally dont compare. With clothing I wont buy unless it is marked down. I an honestly say I hardly ever but clothing for regular price. I even wait to buy socks and underware and bras when there is a huge sale _________________ Vicki

| | I guess it's on household items. dh and I went on a shopping frenzy for furniture a couple of weekends ago. We got some nice furniture that was discounted with our AAA membership. We bought a new TV and received a free DVD player and 3 free DVD's. The TV was, also, reduced in price by $400.00. |

| I chose other...with DH being the only one working here we have to be frugal all the time. He is more "spendy" than I am....but I am frugal about all of the above choices.

| I picked other because we are frugal by necessity and well , just because it is a good way to live. We always compare prices and try to buy the best value for our money within the boundries of our budget. _________________ MARY |

| Well, I chose clothing because of my magical dumpster, lol, because free is the most frugal, but I think I do very well with food thanks to the Share program and places like Big Lots. _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | I chose clothing ... because I dont normally buy clothing at full price. If I buy clothing, it is from the Thrift Store, or clearance rack at Penny's or Kohl's. When you get used to thrift store prices, it is hard to pay even $10.00 for a single item.
Now, with jeans, that is a different story. I buy jeans for full price at WalMart (the ones I have were $16.95 a few years ago). There are more and more holes that I have to patch up, but I wear them all of the time (weekends, or if I go out after work). I have just one pair, and I wear them until I cant repair any longer.
I am also very frugal with groceries ... but I thought clothing was more fitting.

| Donna, go ahead and pick the puppy from the animal menu in the avatar gallery, or you might find some other ones you like..... there are other cute puppies and kittens, etc. _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand.
