| | I don't like red meat but have iron issues sometimes so I force myself to eat it at least once a month. |

| I think we eat entirely too much. DH doesn't care for chicken or turkey. Will probably be calling about some deer meat because it is better than beef _________________ Vicki

| I voted 3-6 times a week, however, I know it's not 6 or even 5,times a week. it's probably 4 times. Chicken or ground beef. or even turkey. I'm trying to stay away(& keep my family away from pork). I make meatballs with my pasta & sauce, so that's twice a week, then there's chicken...aaah, the versatile chicken. In fact, that's what we're having tonight! I'll make chili(w/ground beef) later on this week, and tacos(ground beef again). Depends what's on sale...that's what we eat. |

| | We used to eat it 1-2 times a week but after my surgery (and during treatments) we only had it 1-2 times/month. We've changed to eating more chicken, turkey and pork. We're also considering trying buffalo and ostrich which are supposed to be better for you. |

| DF - My mom and her husband bought 1/2 a buffalo for meat - and I loved the meat. There were alot of burgers (which I love), and when you cook them up - there is NO grease that comes from them. My mom and her husband did not like the buffalo as much.
As for me - I said once a month. We make our meals with turkey meat because it's better for you, and also, it's cheaper at Save-A-Lot at $0.89/lb.
We eat alot of chicken.

| ~M Thanks for sharing your experience with buffalo. If we can get some ground stuff, I'll give that a try first. No grease huh? That'll be interesting... |

| No grease...at least for the burgers. They are really good when you season them up :-)
Also, the roasts were really good as well.
The steaks - enormous, and juicy.
...can you tell I like the stuff? :-) _________________ "It is not how much money you make - it is how you spend it."
