| | Churches around here don't have yard sales. Even yard sales at personal homes don't have the buys they used to. It seems everyone is becoming price savy and bumping up the prices to get the most that they can rather than just trying to get rid of clutter. There's a few thrift stores around here that I haven't tried yet, but plan on doing it this year. |

| our thift stores are well stocked and our churches have regular wonderful sales... there are two in a twenty mile area I do my main shopping at the big store but the little store will have a sale and I buy there... I just live in a great area _________________ Gayla

| | I think economics and demographics has a lot to do with the type of thrift stores and merchandise available in an area. I live in an area that is about 75 - 80% seniors and labor depressed. There's not much available around here. |

| Well Sissy, just an idea but do you ever get out to larger towns or cities ?- many of the bigger thrift stores will be listed online so you might check to see if there are several possibilities worth a trip to that town. Sometimes I will look up these stores before we make an exploration type ride to various towns up in the mtns, etc. _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand.
