I also chose 9.
I would've selected a few more but discovered it wasn't a multiple choice...lol.
I also buy toiletries, household cleaning, etc in bulk as it's much cheaper.
Frozen, occasionally but mainly to save on supermarket trips as I often buy homebrand with most of these.

I do all of these things

Fresh fruit,,freeze some,,can some for later date

Fresh vegetables,,freeze some, can some for a later date.

Toiletries/Personal,,toothpaste,deodorant etc. I use coupons and get alot of this for free

4.Paper goods,,toilet paper,,paper towels napkins etc Janatorial service .. we dont use paper towel but our paper goods are so reasonable and they deliver .

5.Canned vegetables - I love this it helps very much with budget and it starting to be a lost art .

6.Canned fruits yes all kinds . I make an apple pie filling that won awards

7.Dairy foods, use some now, freeze for later date. We mile cow and goat we make cheese butter , any thing we can I buy milk for the kids ( their Dr insists they drink that junk you get at the store )

8.Frozen foods(meat fruit veggies) I make meatloaf I make enough to save , same with spaghetti sauce it save alot

9.Meat,all kinds what can I say they have whole chicken for $ 57 a pound I brought 50 we seperated them into pieces and frozen them

I guess my family does it all

I stock up on as much meat as my little freezer can hold when it is really marked down but lately I find myself squeezing in fresh veggies when they are clearanced, I have rearranged my dining room and storage closets so that I am ready to handle any bulk purchases like toilet paper, toiletries, canned goods from the dollar type stores, and the markdowns from the dented and torn packaging areas of the stores...

I don't know about what I feel is "best" to stock up on, however, I find that paper goods (which is what I voted for) is the easiest to stock up. Toilet paper & flushable wipes being my best stock-pile.
Next would be personal items like shampoo, toothpaste, etc.

I'm always afraid with food expiring, like canned goods...frozen items getting freezer burned or just plain "old", and grains getting "buggy". Even breads like rolls, etc. taste funny if they've been frozen a little too long. Maybe I'm just not wrapping them well enough? but I am wrapping them the best I can.
I guess I also just fear "old" food in general~ Laughing maybe it's a mental block~ Laughing

paper goods & toiletries are the way-to-go for us!! Laughing
