| I also chose 9. I would've selected a few more but discovered it wasn't a multiple choice...lol. I also buy toiletries, household cleaning, etc in bulk as it's much cheaper. Frozen, occasionally but mainly to save on supermarket trips as I often buy homebrand with most of these. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I stock up on as much meat as my little freezer can hold when it is really marked down but lately I find myself squeezing in fresh veggies when they are clearanced, I have rearranged my dining room and storage closets so that I am ready to handle any bulk purchases like toilet paper, toiletries, canned goods from the dollar type stores, and the markdowns from the dented and torn packaging areas of the stores... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | I don't know about what I feel is "best" to stock up on, however, I find that paper goods (which is what I voted for) is the easiest to stock up. Toilet paper & flushable wipes being my best stock-pile. Next would be personal items like shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
I'm always afraid with food expiring, like canned goods...frozen items getting freezer burned or just plain "old", and grains getting "buggy". Even breads like rolls, etc. taste funny if they've been frozen a little too long. Maybe I'm just not wrapping them well enough? but I am wrapping them the best I can. I guess I also just fear "old" food in general~ maybe it's a mental block~
paper goods & toiletries are the way-to-go for us!! _________________
