D'oh I suppose I really should've ticked furniture also. We don't really recycle what we already own but we have purchased a fair share of pre-loved furniture over the years so that's recycling too I guess.

I ticked clothing, as we give it to good will, furniture, we give it to who ever needs it, and food leftovers, we put them in compost.

Gee,I only ticked three, but I really could have ticked more.
Paper & plastic & some glass gets recycled through our town-wide recycling program(we put it all in a bin, and it gets picked up by a recycling truck). Some glass I keep & reuse because it's too nice~ Wink
I have no qualms about hand-me-downs or shopping for clothes at the Salvation Army Thrift Store(does that count as recycling clothes?) & some things like towels, etc. I recycle as rags.
Furniture I don't recycle. I have a fireplace, but we don't actually use it..and we tend not to really buy much furniture(once every twenty years? Laughing ). When we bought a new sofa & bed this past summer, I just threw the old ones out....I asked around first & nobody wanted them(Maybe they were just too beat up!!) We tend to "drive" our furniture into the ground, just like our cars I guess!! Laughing Hopefully our new sofa & loveseat & bed will last us forever!!(I REALLY want to make sure they do!!!) Now mattresses, that's another story. rugs?...Hhhhhmmmm....someday I'd like new rugs.(unless I can find really good-used Laughing ). Actually my living room area rug is a hand-medown from my sis who sold her house after her divorce & gave it to me. I based my whole living room color-scheme around it!!(cranberry).
And we are definitely a left-over food family!!! I don't really do much creating a different dish from left-overs, but we will eat it over & over again til it's gone or mostly gone.(I hear some people will not touch a left-over! wow.)
I think that's it!!

oh,and aluminum cans get put into the recycling bin, also.

And we will recycle kiddy pool water to water the plants in the garden, or even rain water that's been collected.
