| I submitted "No" Well...I do a few dollars every month, because I dont know exactly how much the mortgage on the new house is. :-) So I round up and pay it that way.
I was able to pay an additional $200/month for an entire year at the Akron house. It paid down the mortgage considerably. I cant wait until we are able to do that here.

| I was torn between the last two. I chose 'frequently' because for the last few months I have been and am committed to keep doing so. Our mortgage is really our only debt and I want to end up paying as little interest as we need to. When we initially set up this mortgage we were paying a little over the required fortnightly amount but with gradual interest increases that fell by the wayside. Now that I've worked on other household expenditures, I'm concentrating on the mortgage, we've a long way to go but everything extra helps _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| we own our house free and clear .. Frank had brought the place before we married he had a mortage when we married my Dad gave us House money we applied to the loan , we paid the remainer off in two years because we had were told by the adoption agency if we were debt free.. so we were debt free we increased the amount he had about 50 acres and we added alot more .. we remain debt but for years we had a house fund we deposit the amount of the mortage into a saving account .. it paid increase house twice now . we still have a house fund it pays taxes and for things for the house like the new Florida Room I want . _________________ Gayla

| We have always put extra towards the mortgage. Our goal is to be mortgage free (thus debt free) in 10 years. _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

| | We own our house, but I shudder at the thought of having a mortgage in my 50's when we buy a new house. |

| | I try to make 13 payments a year instead of 12. It isn't always do-able but I like to try. |

| I went online to check our mortgage balance. With interest rises we were whacked with a larger interest amount than what we paid (set payments) for the month!!!! That's terrible, if I hadn't have made any extra payments our outstanding balance would've been higher than the previous month. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |
