| I find an easy way around this by having fish, chips and beans as a set dinner every Friday. It's not exactly a vegetarian meal though....more of a 'meatless' meal...lol. I'd love to try to incorporate a proper vegetarian meal at least once per week, with winter coming it's easier with a huge pot of homemade veggie soup (except I use chicken wings during the cooking...lol). I'll really have to work on this, not sure how DH or DS would go for it though which is where my problem lies. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| | I chose a few times a week...hubby works odd hours and likes breakfast foods for dinner at times.Theres so many different type of vegetarians..Paul McCarthy once said(he and his 1st wife were vegetarians) that they wouldnt eat anything with a face.So..I think eggs would be ok to have.I work with a girl thats a complete vegan,,,nothing from any kind of a animal at all...no cheese milk jello etc.I dont think I could follow it that strict though. |

| | I voted a few times per month. My husband isn't a fan of all vegetable meals so it would have to be just for me. |

| I said "a few times a month." Not very often though... most of the time as a fluke. :-)
I have been eating a meatless lunch (blackbean salad) for lunch all last week. I dont have to eat much of it before I get full, and it's good for me.

| We eat meatless a few times per week, and do not even eat large portions of meat on the other days. When it is hot weather we tend to eat even less meat, because it is so hot in the house and we only want light meals. I really love tomato and cheese sandwiches in the summer! _________________ MARY |

| | I chose a few times a week. I'm not a fan of red meat. Since I was a child, I've loved vegetables. DH on the other hand, is a red meat eater. I'm trying to get us on the Mediterrean diet, but we have to do it gradually. |

| I can do without meat quite often but my family will only occasionally go without it...they do like meatless soups and pastas once in awhile... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. Anyone may gather it and no limit is set. ~ Mother Teresa

| Donna, If I am in a hurry I just make a cheese/tomato sandwich on toast. But I usually "grill" them in an iron skillet and they are much better that way! I wonder why I never thought to do them in my little George Foreman grill? Mmmm, is it summer yet? _________________ MARY |
