| Answer by ticking your selected choice.
I know it may be hard to choose just one!!! _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| OOH!!! I probably could've chosen about 4 different options but I plumped for 'Entertainment' as that would probably be more of a splurge for me to buy for myself...less of a necessity if you know what I mean.
Although...I wouldn't say 'NO' to Movie Vouchers either (that still falls under 'Entertainment' anyway) _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~

| | I chose Other because I have so little time now that I would LOVE someone to give me a hand cleaning my bathrooms! That would be such an amazing gift. |

| I chose wearable only because I tend not to buy this stuff for myself. I love perfumes but won't buy them. _________________ Vicki |

| | I chose giftcard because I just love receiving them. I use them to buy something for myself that I normally wouldn't spend the money on. I'm like a kid in a candy store and want to get the most out of the giftcard purchase. |

| I chose other. My step-mom has been around long enough to know that if she asks me what I'd like - it is always going to be a practical gift. She continually pokes fun at me for my "practical" requests.
For Christmas, I normally ask for things that I wont buy myself, but are very inexpensive. For instance, one year, it was slippers. I had old slippers, but I couldnt bring myself to buy a new pair at $10. I ended up getting 3 pairs for Christmas from different people - they should last a lifetime.
Another think I requested was the "5 ingredient cookbook." I just couldnt bring myself to pay the $15 - so someone got it for me as a gift.
Now that Todd and I are together - I have requested items that we could do together. For instance, we got movie tickets, dinner theater tickets, wine tasting brochures, etc. for Christmas last year.
Growing up - mom never bought us clothes for the holidays or our birthdays. She always said that clothes were a necessity, not a gift. And today, I agree. I can go get clothes anytime I want to - at the thrift store. I dont need/want someone to buy me a $75 sweater from a name brand store. I'd rather they save their money.
That is just my two cents. :-)
