use a humidifier ... with wood stove it increase your heat... at least at 30% to 50%

also heating with wood dries you out ... also no nosebleeds.

I keep a kettle on top of the woodstove to help with the lack of mositure

we do all of those...lol...we burn wood & coal....we use a humidifier as it gets dry...and drink coffee to keep warm Smile

This year is the first year we have a wood burning stove... in the new house. Actually, we have a wood burning stove and a functional fireplace, so I think that will help out alot.

We also layer, and have electric blankets we use to keep warm.

Extra sweaters, electric blanket (new for us!). I also love snuggling up under a throw/blanket with a hot water bottle, I've even worn a scarf indoors...very snug!
