| I selected 'Drive less'. I'd normally fill my tank every fortnight (2 weeks). Since I've begun my 'One Spend Day' per week, I go to all the stores, etc., I need to on the one day (and usually buy enough groceries for a fortnight (2 weeks). That usually means 'one' pitstop at the supermarket on the alternate week for a few fresh items to see me through the 2nd week. Other than this I just drive to and from work on 3 days (4 this week). Sometimes I also pick DS up from work too. I'm so amazed that I'm now into my 3rd week with still almost 1/2 tank of petrol/gas!!! That's a HUGE saving...a whole extra week!!! _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I chose nothing... This is very sad, but true. I have to drive 35 miles to work each way every day. I purchased a new car (2007 Toyota Yaris) las August that gets about 10 MPG better than my old car. Today, I filled 'er up for $19.00 and it will last until the end of next week. This past fill up, I got 42 MPG which is not bad considering I had the AC on most days.
When Todd and I go anywhere, we try to use the most fuel efficient vehicle. Luckily, we have 2. And one vehicle that we use for hauling stuff (his conversion van) which is not fuel efficient at all (~15 MPG). His little car (we call it Squirt : It is a '95 Ford Aspire) gets about 38 MPG. My car (we named her Bianca) gets just a little more than his does, and is 12 years newer. So there WERE efficient cars 10 years ago. The problem is - he has almost 1/2 the horsepower I do.

| Driving less is what I chose, although I could add spend less too, because our income goes up and down a lot. We pay bills first and then see how much is left for living expenses. If it is a low budget month, then we buy less groceries, etc. to allow enough money for gas. _________________ MARY |

| I chose nothing. I only drive to work and that's 10 miles a day. I live in a small town and I can walk to stores/post office/restaurant, etc. I bought gas on Monday morning and Monday afternoon it was 2 cents lower This seems to happen whenever I buy gas. |

| | I clicked drive less..although we are still going on a mini vacation this month and have added in extra money on the gas bill.We sold our car to our son,,so we are realying on our truck only...its not too bad on gas but a car would get better mileage. |
