| Sometimes, when there's more than enough cooked, I fill containers and freeze which DH and I can take to work for lunch and reheat in microwaves. Sometimes if it's just scraps left over on our plates, I'll give what I can to the dogs and put anything I can't into the bin. For some weird reason I can't/won't reuse leftovers from plates we've been eating off...the dogs aren't choosy though...lol. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| The kids and I eat before dh gets home (usually not home til 9pm) so I fix his plate and put on the stove, fix his lunch out of what is left and either refrigerate or freeze what is left to eat later. _________________ Vicki

| A lot of times I will make more than we need for that meal. I will either use leftovers for the next day's lunch, freeze it for future meals, or in the case of leftover meat, veggies, etc. I will use them to make something different. I usually do not use a recipe for this ,but will make a stirfry, add to scrambled eggs or macaroni and cheese,or perhaps make a soup...it is fun to be creative. I really try to use everything up so that I do not waste food...I just can not afford to do that. _________________ MARY |

| We always store in containers, and if we dont eat within a few days, it goes up into the freezer.

| | We rarely have left-overs. If we do, then I put them in containers for and have them for our lunches the next day. |
