| Personally, we try to repair and fix what we can, which usually saves money. I just wondered because I remembered a woman whose children went to a pre-nursery school with DS several years ago who happily told us all that if one of her kids tore their clothing, she dumped it and bought new! She said she couldn't be bothered sewing clothes, I know these days it's regarded as a disposable society....but clothes???....lol. I replace buttons, zips, resew seams that have come apart on clothing and bedlinen etc.... There're also household items we've repaired where possible unless it's beyond all hope I remember when we were kids, my dad re-heeled our shoes with old rubber car-mats _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |

| | I have to be honest, we replace. We're too lazy to figure out how to fix most things. |

| | We are pretty resourceful...we always try to repair unless it costs more to fix it than to buy it new....But first before we buy, if it can't be fixed, we try to go without it to see if we "need" it. |
