I have one right now on 'interest-free credit' (as if!) but normally I try hard not to have any.

We have no debt and it is such a blessing. We previously had quite a bit of debt due to me having two surgeries, a biopsy and another Dr's bill that kept adding up. Being in debt causes me an incredible amount of stress. I know that it could easily happen again with another crisis, but for now I am so thankful that we are debt free.

I agree about the stress GentleRain, it is a constant worry having debt hanging around. It's such a relief to be free from owing money.
We do have one credit card which we use occasionally to pull us out of the odd hole but we've always paid it off in full the following month so as not to incur the interest. I try to avoid using it but like to keep it for emergencies.
I really don't understand how anyone copes with several, too scary for me thinking about trying to keep up with repayments! What a Face
