| We have ONE card which is a combined debit/credit card (linked to both accounts). We have stopped using the credit option unless it's an emergency, but it's reassuring to know the option is available in that instance. Last year we opened a separate savings account which is only accessable via internet transfer so we cannot directly withdraw money from it. I am trying to transfer 'something' into it each week from our wages(although often it's more like fortnightly), and this is finally a step in the right direction as it's slowly building....it pays around 5% interest. I'm also going to check into mortgages in the new year to get a better deal or increase our payments. _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |

| We have 2 cc and each has a debit card. I have no store cards....oh wait..I think I might still have an old navy card for school shopping....anyways, we are in a financial bind as well and have abalance on our cc of like $5,000 or even a little more, we haven't gotten our statement yet. Christmas hit us hard this year, and earlier in the year we had big medical beills for Ds and we had no $ for food...so we put it on the cc....DH's job will probly strike in April, so I hope we can get them paid off before that point, who knows.

| | We have a debit card also..I plan on getting a credit card,,maybe 2 this comming year...I have worked off some bad credit and we are establishing good credit now.In June I will have 1 of 2 small loans paid off which I have made perfect payments on so far,,that should help boodt my scores up some..I was surprised they were as high as they were,,,I think a credit card will help bring it up more.I also heard that Kohls cards are not too bad to have,,percentages and rewards etc. |

| I have mine and dh has his. Then we have 2 in both names together. With my first marriage all we had was joint and then when dh and I split we charge up all the cards and I got stuck with the bills. _________________ Vicki

| ...I have always been against the whole "joint account" thing. I think, for me (personally), the only joint account we will have is our checking. Not credit cards. I've known too many people who get into trouble with them (my mom included with her husband).

| Ijust went through all of my cards... I only had 8 of them. Not the 11+ as I first though.
I will be keeping 4 of them: Visa Discover Kohl's Kirklands
The rest will be closed.

| Good going M... Credit cards scare me I couldn't cope with more than one for emergencies...I'd lose track. I hate to owe money. _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |
