| We don;t really have savings...it seems when ever we get ahead there are things that break, we need a van, get a kid...etc...life happens!

| There is more month than money, so it is not possible to have a savings account. That would be nice though! _________________ MARY |

| I too would love a savings account and have been working on things. I am hoping for the upcoming New Year that I can put away $25.00 a week. I want to have it taken directly out of dh's paycheck and put into a savings account. I know this isn't much but it is more than we have now!! _________________ Vicki

| | I realized that I clicked the wrong box. We could go 7 mos to a year. Or rather we are going 7 mos to a year. My DH is out of work and I have some health issues (since June) that are keeping me from working full time. Hopefully that will change in January! |

| I said about a month...because I am one month ahead of my bills when I get paid and put it in my ING Direct account.
I have enough for one month of mortgage, one month of car payment, one month of utilities.
Actually, now that I think about it, I should have put 2 months or more. I forgot that I have CD's that I could take the money out of if needed to pay the bills for another month or two. And I have enough for 2 mortgage payments in Savings Bonds that my grandmother, aunts and uncles have given me while I was growing up (and I dont need them right now, so I will wait to cash them at maturity (30 years maximum) or when I need them). One of them was given to my by my grandma when I was 2 months old (25 years ago) for $100.00. It is worth almost double right now. I am keeping it, because it means so much to me because it was from 1981 (and from Grandma).
