| For me, it was between thrift shops and auctions although I plumped for online auctions. I have picked up some fantastic pre-loved furniture (like new), books, clothes and gifts for real bargain prices. Buying 'lots' has saved me money on clothing and books. I do pay postage (not on large items which we've picked up) but I factor that into my 'bid' and don't overdo it! _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I said Thrift Stores. I get alot of my clothes from the thrift store. And we dont really buy anything else except for necessities at Super Wal-Mart.

| I had to say other as my best deals come from freecycle. I love asking for what I need and getting it for free or should I say for the cost of gas to pick it up. _________________ Vicki

| Im torn between thrift shops and dollar stores..so I clicked dollar stores because you can get something from a dollar tree store for everyroom in your home pretty much.

| I love the dollar stores. I find so much there. I feel like a little kid in the candy store.
I'm not having too much luck in thrift stores, although, the consignment furniture store has reaped us some great buys on used furniture. |
