| In one of the postings skin mentioned a website about money,,on the site they had a mention of a group in California that they called The Compact.They arent buying anything new for the month except for food medicines and toiletries.I know I can do this,,easliy!! I am gonna do this for the month of April! Anyone else wanna give it a go??? It might be harder than I think,,but I will find out in April!!

| I am willing to try it with you.
...might be hard seeing as we have a basketball game to go to (the Cavs : 2nd row seats!) that was given to me as a gift from a Vendor. The game will be free, and parking will be free, but I was hoping to go out to lunch with Todd before the game.

| I am not sure about this one . Frank will be working in N Ga and TN most every day in April they eat out and spent daily
and I have already order things in Apirl for Bruces birthday .

| I know we can't do this...as with the kids and the activites they are in...not possible. I can not buy anything for myself for a month...but with kids and we'll have foster kids by then...no way! LOL  |

Yep Donna, this is the link I found through another which M posted. I'm going to discuss this idea with DH as I really want to try it and I feel to make it really work he should be on board with it also. I think he would find it more difficult than I would but it mightn't be as easy as I'm thinking, time would enlighten me!
I imagine there would need to be a few small sacrifices but it would prove interesting especially regarding my willpower

| The way I see it, we could try it - even if it's just for a week or two. It would prove how difficult (or easy) it may be.
I was going to try it on my own, but I think I'll talk to Todd about it. It may be a growing experience for both of us.

But your right skin,,it woould be a issue with willpower,,it would be a definate learning experience.M,,your lucky if your hubby does it with you,,not sure yet on mine,,he hasnt answered yet,,,he needs to think on it.But I am going to do it as of April,,gonna try my best. |

| I wanted to do this also but really want to buy my brothers Christmas gift on Friday since it has been marked down and I will have the funds.No on else in the family will get on board which makes it even harder.

| I'm in with you Donna, just essentials like groceries, petrol, bills...normal household expenses. Anything else would be a 'want' not a 'need'.
DH wasn't as receptive to the idea but as he said he really only spends on tools which he needs for his job.
