| Into day 6 and nothing,,,yeah!! Took the grandkids to a friends house Saturday who has some land,,and my son and his friends rode 4wheelers while the grandkids played in the mud!They threw rocks in the pond too,,,such simple things to do and they loves every bit of it!if Id known this I would build a pond with mud in my tiny backyard!LOL,,just jokin!!
All the kids go home today as I have to go in work for just 2 1/2 hrs for this promo thingy...then its home and get housework and laundry done for the week.So no spending again,,even if I could! |

| Okay...I failed miserably on my 6th day. I worked nightshift on Friday, had a little bit of sleep late on Saturday because of some stuff going on, then was up all of Saturday night because I couldn't sleep. I got dressed really early, barely daylight, and took myself off to a local flea market to take my mind of things and splurged $2 on a used book (in excellent condition) to cheer myself up.
Can I start again?!?!?

| Day 13!!! I am so shocked on how much will power I am doing with this challenge to myself,,,wonder why that will power leaves me on a diet! LOL
The goal was to not buy anything new except for food medical,bills and gas.I havent even bought anything used! I was thinking aout checkin out a thrift shop for some cabinets for the scrapbook room I am working on,,but havent even done that! Not to mention our tax return came,,wasnt much,,but I could have used iton some cosmetics that I am low on,,and not to mention SCRAPBOOK supplies! LOL,,Can never have enough! I was a Fru-gal girl and paid off 2 bills with it instead.My hubby is shocked I didnt take it and camped out at Hobby Lobby!

| 2 weeks today.................I spent
My husband bought a carpet remenant of very nice Berber carpet for my craft room,,,Im so thrilled,,so I rented 2 movies last night to treat him!,,,then theres a Walgreens that I stopped in at before we went grocery shopping..I had plans to buy Dawn dish soap on sale and toilet paper.They were cheaper than the grocery store.
While in the store they had my haircolor on sale,,CLariol Balsam, on sale buy one,,get one free,,and then I had a coupon ,,which let me have 4 boxes for the price of one box!
So it came to 14.00 .Kinda ironic,,14 days of no spending,,and ended up on the 14th day and spent 14.00
Gonna keep going and see if I can go another 14 days and finish out the month.
Im trying to tell myself ,,it was a MUST to buy,,sale was too good,,,LOL I know ......excuses excuses! |

| You've done fantastically well so far Donna. It is hard to pass up a bargain on something you'd normally use at some stage so don't feel too bad. I caved a week ago over a $2 book...lol.

| We have had many unexpected expenses this month, and I'm not sure how we're going to make it.
I think Todd and I will HAVE to do this with you until the end of the month to make it thru to vacation.
