Ths is my very first post.
I love the site - and it is nice having everyone here.

The picture listed is one of the two loves of my life: my neice (Natalie Elizabeth). She is not even 6 months old in this picture.

For those who don't know, my step-sister found out the day she gave birth to Natalie that she had a brain tumor. A few surgeries later, and many heartaches, she is now living with my father and step-mother and Natalie. Right now, we are waiting to hear the results of her latest brain surgery and to see what we can expect of her health in the near future.

I guess I never really introduced myself on this board.

My name is Meg*n, and I am a 25 year old professional who is working toward an early retirement slowly but steadily. I reside in Akron, OH.

I am newly engaged to the love of my life (Todd) and we have a wedding planned for May 3, 2007. My goal is to amass enough money to be able to stay at home with our children (God willing).

I have had some medical problems last year that may make it very difficult for Todd and I to have children. At the age of 24, I had a stroke - doctors think it may have been due to the birth control pill and some unknown problem with my blood that makes it thicker than normal. Because of this, I have to take asprin daily to avoid another stroke. Because of the asprin daily as well as the issues with the stroke - I would be considered "high risk" to start a family. Todd and I are working on things one day at a time to get me healthy - and ready to start making some babies after the honeymoon! bride and groom
