| Just for fun,,this posting said for annoucements, help..get to know one another better,,etc ,,I thought it would be fun to see who has a pet and whats the name and how did they get that name.. :elephant: We did this at a old job I had and was fun to see what names were chosen for pets. Such as one girl had a cat named Orange juice,,,,because guess what it loved to drink,,,lol
I had a dog,,mixed breed small one.We found him in the trash,,took him home and he lived with us for 10 more years,,great dog.We named him Rumpkey,,,,because that was the name of the trash pickup service!
My husbands dog, he bought before we met,,is a springer,,(bird dog) He named her Alice,,from a group called Alice in Chains. They came on the radio on his way home.
Whats yours? |

Cat - Tuxedo. Because she looks like she's wearing a tuxedo. Didn't know that's what black and white cats are called! |

| All white cat - Chance White & Red/orange cat - Muffin
We did not name them - we got them from the Humane Society.
When I got 2 other kittens before, we called them: 1.) Crash - Grey & White mama's boy : because he was always falling off the couch, the bed, the railing, hitting his head on the glass coffee table.
2.) Cali - she was a calico cat.

| Wow, Gayla, what a wonderful menagerie you have I just have one critter......a beautiful Chesapeake Bay retriever (rescue dog) whose previous owners named him Turd The shelter people refused to call him that so they named him Buddy and we stayed with that _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | Well Donna we really don't know why they named him Turd - but given his color and that maybe they had trouble potty training him when he was a puppy.....who knows??? Anyway he must have learned something because when he needs to go out to do his business he goes to the front door and rattles the door knob with his nose _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand.
