| The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month,,I received this in my email about knowing what to check for a look for.The stats on breast cancer were shocking to me.Here are a few questions to check your awareness of Breast cancer.
1.The best time to give yourself a exam is :
a.In the shower
b.At night
c.Same day each month
2.You should get a mamogram when you are:
a.35
b.40
c.Family history..you should have your mamogram 10years before you reach the age your family member was diagnosed.
3.Beyond being a woman,what else is the leading cause of Breast cancer?
a.smoking
b.Family history
c.Aging
4.Research has shown that if you excercise _____many hours a week,it will reduce your chances of breast cancer.

The answers:
#1.The best time is to do it the same day each month,for consistency ,preferably a week after your period if you still have a cycle.
#2.The answer is C,,10 years before the age of a family members diagnosis,,if no family history ,,then age 40.
#3.The answer is C.
From birth to age 39,your risk is 1 in 229
From the age 40 to 59,risk is 1 in 24
From the ages 60 to79 the risk is 1 in 13
#4.The answer is 4 hours a week of exercise can reduce your risks at breast cancer.
