Are there things you are brand loyal to? Especially in regards to health and beauty... Toothpaste? Shampoo? Conditioner? Moisturizer?

What do you spurge on? I was reading a book on tips from the 'Stars' and when they were asked what 'cheap' tricks they used...most said Nuetragena or equivalent. That is a spurge for me. Aloe vera would be my 'cheap trick' or baking soda for a facial scrub etc.

I'm brand loyal to soap. I use only Ivory because of my eczema. Toilet paper because we use a brand that is safe for septic tanks, even though we don't have a septic tank. Rolling Eyes

I'm not very brand loyal. I like to get good quality but at a reasonable price, especially with clothes. I've noticed that the designer label clothes don't wear any better than the less expensive clothes. All you're doing is paying for the designer's name.

I, also, heard that using sugar as a facial scrub is good, too, even though the baking soda is much more wallet-friendly.

I am only brand loyal to:
Toilet Paper (because of septic)
Cooking Spray (the $1 cooking spray ruined our pans)
Deoderant (I know what works for me and Todd : Luckily they are only $1.00/stick)

Everything else is least expensive I can find.

Mayonnaise
Toothpaste (sensitive teeth)
Milk and yogurt (local brand)

I thought I was brand loyal but apparently not. Thanks for helping me realize what I didn't know about myself!

Country Gold spread, we like the taste and it does spread easily from the fridge.

Duo front load washing detergent, great price and effective.

HP brown sauce, used seldom but my favourite.

That's about it!
