| We let our chickens out of the coop yesterday to let them eat bugs, worms, grass...it was sooooo funny! They just followed us all over the place and would come right up to us and just stand there and stare at us! I didn't realize just how tame they are! The kids were carrying them around! the chicken really enjoyed the fresh grass and such...we are hoping to fence in our 3 veggie gardens and let them roam...it won't cost as much to feed them then LOL |

| On my way to work, I see alot of people who have chickens roaming around the front yard, and in the fields eating bugs.
I'm glad everyone had such a good time with them. How old are the chickens?

| | Yes they are layers...and they will be a year old in the first part of June. We are going to get six more...we may try to have a hen hatch them...not sure. |
