There are new pictures of Squiggy pig

, so you can all see how big he's gotten in the past 3 1/2 months. I cant believe that's how long we've had him. 3 1/2 months doesnt sound like long, but it feels like he's been with us for at least 6 months to a year.

How everything can change in 3 1/2 months! :-) I love you

Someone from work left one of their local papers on my desk yesterday about a white pot bellied pig named Penelope that some college kids took to parties and spray painted her hair. They didnt feed her correctly, so she is 10 lbs underweight and they never had her hooves taken care of (you need to take them to the vet and get them clipped, like nails), so she can barely walk.

She is the cutest little thing I've seen next to Squiggy. I showed Todd the paper last night, but the more I think about it, the more I want her.

Squiggy is alot longer than she is, but that may be because she hasnt been fed properly, which stunts their growth.

How cute would it be to have a black pig wtih white spots, and an all white pig? I will have to talk to Todd about it today, and call the humane society.
I'll keep everyone updated.

Todd said I could call the humane society - and I did.
Penelope has had many, many requests and they are reviewing them right now. I'm a day too late, it seems.

Oh well.
I'm glad she'll be in a good home.

I have put up more pictures of Squiggy if anyone is interested.
I had a hard time explaing to people at work that in the morning, Squiggy requires "mummy time." I sit on the floor, he runs around like a bucking bronco, and then crawls up into my lap when he's tired. He always puts his head under my arm.

When he was a piglet, this wasnt so bad, but he's gotten so big, I cant put my arms together, and I have to sit indian style for him to fit in my lap!

Squiggy is SOOOOO cute!!! He is big!!!! Will he get much bigger?

Apparently, he will continue to grow until he's 3 years old. Then, he will be "full size."

I was looking on petfinder.com this morning, and the pot bellied pigs are pretty big (and ugly). I think Squiggy is the cutest of them all, but maybe that's because he's still a piglet. He turned 6 months old yesterday. :-)
