If anyone else would like the modern Christian music I have, please feel free to send over your address. I'd be more than happy to burn them for you.

Thanks.

It is now February, and I was wondering how everyone has been doing with their New Year's Resolutions.

This is what I've accomplished so far:

My list (revised):

• Read Bible // Listen to Christian Music // Listen to Christian Seminars on CD in car (I listen to Christian seminars in the car at least once a week)
• Lose Weight (Not yet - hope to start being more serious about it this weekend)
• Cancel credit cards / get name changed on ones that I will be keeping (Home Depot/Lowes : no more than 5) (Got name changed on some, but need to cancel alot of them)
• Sell/Rent out Akron House (Working on it - going to Akron house to paint some walls this weekend)
• Create Cleaning Schedule (Clean as we go now)
• Stick to Cash Budget (COMPLETE!!!)
• Emergency Fund of at least $500 (COMPLETE)
• Pay off : Todd’s car & Van in 2008 (Todd's car is paid off: we are going to try to sell the van this Spring/Summer. So I decided to put debt payments toward other things)
• Cook enough food in one weekend to eat for at least 1 ½ weeks. (Not so much, but we have been doing better with freezing leftovers right away so we dont end up eating everything)
o Try new recipes (This was an easy one - yes, we're trying new recipes)
o Create a weekly dinner schedule (COMPLETE)
• Grocery shop only 2 times a month & stick only to the list! (...well... I was doing good until I got all the coupons and sales flyers. But this month, I am going to try to stick to the once a month with only going to the store for milk on sale)
• Walk at least 30 minutes a day (Not yet - will hopefully start this weekend)
• Only 1 hour of TV a day during week : the rest of my time is to be put toward hubby, Squiggy, cleaning, crafts, reading, gardening, etc. (Semi-complete. I dont have time during the week to watch TV, so I keep all my TiVo'd shows to watch on the weekends).
• Create a garden with many vegetables including potatoes for Squiggy (Waiting for the seeds)
• Read at least one financial/frugal book a month (January's book is complete)
• Brush teeth 3 times a day (Nope, but will try to be better at it)
• Learn to sew (Not yet)
• Start a website? Business? (Not yet, but still brainstorming)
• Organize my junk / throw away what I don’t want/need (or put in “garage sale” bin) (Ongoing - will have plenty for the garage sale this Spring)
• Kiko Auctions – try to go to at least 5 or 6 throughout the year (Have not gone yet : have 10 more months to go)
• Go to Roger’s Flea Market with family at least 2-3 Fridays in the Summer (have to wait until Summer-time to do this)
• Do one craft a month for Christmas gifts next year (researching things to do for Christmas gifts)

I am enjoying those christian music cd's you sent me,m,soooooo much!! I listen to them every morning.
My favorite song is "Shine Jesus Shine"...I loved hearing the children in our children's choir sing it when my youngest daughter was involved in it.
I hope you got the thank you I PM'd you when I first received them...I would hate to think that you thought I was ungrateful~ Crying or Very sad I surely DO appreciate it~ Very Happy

Mine was to clean out my shed - I am waiting for better weather because everything has to come out and alot is still my brothers stuff which I guess I will have to take to his house if I want it gone.

Catch up and pay off bills - I am making some headway here. Just not as fast as I would like. Most bills are caught up now to keep them up and get them paid off!

You've been really dedicated with working on your resolutions M, really good job.

Mine was O.A.M. grocery shopping, it's still a work in progress but getting close....it needs tweaking....and practise!

I am getting some of my little projects accomplished. Still working on organizing my recipes. I'm decluttering the house. I'm exercising. I'm reading more books.
