| Today was my last chemo treatment for ovarian cancer. I had surgery in June for another problem but they found the adenocarcinoma on my right ovary. Thank goodness they found it so early (Stage 1c). I lost all my reproductive organs but I'm alive and well. My journey will be life long but this latest milestone has been reached. Now I'll go on for more blood work, scans and re-staging. I'm so lucky to live close to one of the best cancer treatment centers in the world. I'm also lucky to have a wonderful support system.
Thanks to everyone for your kind words and prayers in the Budget thread in the Polls forum. You are wonderful, kind and generous people. |

I hope you will soon regain your strength and get good reports from the doctors. You know that we care so much about you here and I will keep you in my prayers! {{Hugs}} _________________ MARY |

| Thank you all for your generosity of spirit. I keep reminding myself of the positives in this. Even with the chemo I'm feeling better overall than I was before this started. I've started walking to keep my energy up and in the process lost weight (and then was ordered to gain some back!) We're eating healthier and I've lost my cravings for junk food. My husband and I have grown much closer. I've met some incredibly strong, brave and caring people.
Now on to new and better times. |
