| YIKES! I'm half an hour into Christmas Eve, I better get organized early in the morning and finish wrapping the last few prezzies for DH and DS that I've quickly stashed Then I can put their sacks beneath the tree so they can pick one gift each to open in the evening if they want to, DS ALWAYS does, DH usually waits until Christmas morning. I also need to whizz out in the morning and buy a marbled mudcake from the Cheesecake shop to take into our neighbours on Christmas evening for tea, it's sooo good with the boysenberry ice-cream I've got tucked in the freezer. The little girls love it too, yummmy
OH, almost forgot...I need to also buy a bag of wrapped minties for the mini-stockings...I ate my stash the other night!

| Congrats Skin on the extra time off...enjoy the time and your family. No last minute things to do here, except a grocery store trip, a few blocks away..... and again, Skin, have a beautiful Christmas and fun Boxing Day! _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | Merry Christmas Eve - Eve to everyone here in the states! Merry Christmas Eve, Skin! :-)
I started wrapping this morning. I didnt realize how much we had until I started wrapping. I am only half way into it! I just hope I remember everything - we've been buying since January! :-)
I hope to sort them out in piles - one to go to dad's house, one to go to my in-laws house, and one to go to my mom's house.
I am getting so excited. :-)

| Well, it is officially Christmas Eve here in the states (Christmas for you, Skin!), and I FINALLY got my wrapping done. Phew.
We didnt put a tree up this year (because we cant find either of them in our stacks of boxes), but the presents are all on a table, and they look so good. When I see a pile of gifts, it means nothing to me. But when I see a table-full of wrapped gifts, it really puts me in the mood for Christmas. I should wrap early next year when things at the house get settled.
I am now ready for Christmas.
One great thing about this Christmas, because I've been buying for everyone throughout the year, it wasnt nearly as much of a strain on our budget as I expected. Even though we had a limit of $50/person (for the parents), we did it with no problems (or having to use credit cards!). We got some gift cards for the parents, but they were all discount gift cards! I paid $25 for $50 gift certificates to go someplace thru a radio station, I paid $10.00 for a $25 gift certificate for Todd's parents (restaurant.com). You cant beat it!
I am thrilled, and cant wait for tomorrow.
Skin, how was your Christmas?!?!?!?

| Well I've had a very quiet and relaxing day which was lucky because, for some reason, I felt incredibly tired. The 3 of us got up, made tea/coffee and I put on a Christmas c.d. and we opened all of our gifts. From DH I received 2 bottles of my favourite perfume from The Body Shop, 2 dvds, 1 cd I'd wanted, a learn to crochet book, and a digital photo keyring which holds 80 images. DS gave me a $70 gift-voucher to Borders bookstore, so I can choose books I'd like for myself. DS's g/f also gave me a giftcard to another store. I also had a few gifts to open from family overseas. DS cooked dinner (I'd put the turkey roast on...just for the 3 of us), then after dinner I took a nap for a few hours then when I got up had my favourite....dessert of pudding and whipped cream We ended up not going to our neighbours for tea this evening as they ended up having to visit in-laws but we'll be having supper on Boxing Night with them and exchanging gifts then, which is nice in that it prolongs the festivities a little longer. I'm going to phone my Mum soon as it'll be Christmas morning in Ireland even though it's Christmas evening here! Then DH and I will watch one of our dvd movies, enjoy and 'Irish Coffee' each and then off to bed again where I can breath a huge sigh of relief that I'm off the rollercoaster until next year (well not even that long)
I hope you all enjoy your day Merry Christmas :wreath: _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! :-)
I woke up this morning at 4:30 with a sour belly. I hope it goes away soon.
I got something little for Todd a while ago - we love sushi. He's wanted to learn, so I found a DVD for him called Easy Sushi to hopefully teach the both of us how to make sushi. That would save us alot of money instead of going out every other weekend to the sushi buffet. Other than that, Todd got his 4 sheds, and I got my hypnosis CD's that I wanted (well, I ordered them yesterday).
We are supposed to leave in an hour to go to my dad's house to see him, his wife, my step-sister, my neice, my step-brother, my brother & his wife, my grandma and uncle Todd. I havent seen my brother since our wedding. Then, we are going to Todd's parents around 2 for a nice, relaxing meal and gift exchange. Todd still isnt up out of bed yet! :-)
Skin, how do you like your picture frame key chain? I got one for my step-mom and pre-loaded Natalie pictures from baby to current in it for her. I hope she likes it, and I hope you like yours!
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I cant wait to hear from you all...
