| “Life is an attitude. It’s what you choose to believe, always.” Wayne Dyer
I will be posting the Grateful Thread on Monday of every week. I will start it today for this week. Please post as often and as many things as you want. Hopefully, this will help us to focus on the positive and help each other during our trials and times of stress. |

| I am grateful to have a loving husband who puts up with me (not so easy to do).
I am grateful that I have such a wonderful family (and extended family) supporting me and my husband.
I am grateful to have a job in times such as these.
I am grateful for the hard-work my husband has put into our house and continues to put into our house to make it "our own."
I am grateful for the gift my mother gave Todd and I (Squiggy). He has brought us so much laughter and joy.
I am grateful to have my health.
I am grateful that in today's society, I am able to have an opinion and can make decisions for myself without any reprocussions or someone holding me back.

| | I am greatful for God's forgiveness as I must say I am having a bad attitude this week and broke down today...needed to appologize to my kids and ask God's forgiveness...so that is what I am most greatful for today. And the forgiving and loving nature of my beautiful children. |

| I am grateful that what happened to me this morning wasn't worse than it was and that it didn't happen to one of the kids.
I was taking the trash to the end of the driveway and the neighbor had his pit bull out and well she came after me. I was trying to use the trash can as my shield but she got around once and bit me thankfully it was on my bottom where there is some cushion and I was wearing jeans. Just a small spot but scared me like crazy. I had an asthma attack and had to use Rachel's inhaler. Still upsets me and I am waiting to hear from animal control
I am also grateful for my salvation.
I am grateful for my family and friends. _________________ Vicki

| Vicki, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened this morning. Another thing happened this morning that I am grateful for: my employer offered me overtime. This will really help out with Todd and my "date day" we have scheduled for March 15th. We are going to the winery and taking a class on how to make wine ($15/person) so we can use the equipment my mom got me for my birthday without waste. We were also planning on buying a batch of wine to make at home after taking the class (will be about $60 for the case that makes 30 bottles of wine), and I wanted to take him out to a hibatchi place that I have a coupon for (BOGO). If he gets his favorite Japanese beer, the meal will be about $20-$25 for the two of us including tip. So this OT couldnt have come at a better time! ~M _________________ "It is not how much money you make - it is how you spend it."

| Vicki I am grateful your incident with the pit bull was not worse....his owners should not have let this happen and they need to be confronted about it...hopefully Animal Control can help you with this..... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | I am grateful I don't have to get a tetanus shot as mine is only 5 years old.
UPDATE: The dog has not had her shots. She is in quarantine and I will know in 10 days if I have to go thru the rabies series. _________________ Vicki
