| What is the best thing that has happened to you and/or your family this year?
I thought it'd be nice to think back, and share our experiences from throughout the year.
Mine would have to have been getting married to a wonderful man...and the unforgettable honeymoon to Alaska!

| Well, I'd say the BEST thing that happened to me and my family this year was not something "good". I would have to say that it was the REALLY HARD struggles loosing and gaining kids through foster care. It has strengthened us in our walk with God more than any words can express. The lessons we have learned and are applying to our daily life is amazing and that was all because God allowed such heartache to enter our lives. This was the best thing for us  |

| Like Kim for me it wasn't something good but all the struggles we went through with Rachel. It has taught me to rely on God more and it strengthened my faith. I now know that with God all things are possible!!

| The best thing that has happened to me is I have finally (after 17 years) found the inner peace that I've been searching for while still having to deal with dysfunctional in-laws. I have finally found my emotional stability. I'm happier than I've been in many, many years and I found my parish family has accepted me for who I am. They don't care that I don't wear designer clothing or live in a fancy house in the "right" city. I have found the acceptance that I have so desparately wanted but never found with my husband's family. I believe in prayer. I believe in God. I believe that persistance and perseverance pays off. I'm living proof of that.
And I have found all of you - my cyber family. |

| The best things that have happened to me in my life this year have been:
1. me losing 50 lbs.!!
2. My 25th Wedding Anniversary!!
3. My son getting engaged!!
God-willing, I will have a safe & healthy 2008!!

| The best family thing in 2007 was our much awaited holiday in Ireland to visit our families and also sharing the milestone of DS turning 18.

| For us it would be my daughter recently getting help with her panic/anger attacks, my husband having his best year yet as a college teacher, and for me it had to be my losing 32 lbs so far and greatly improving my health....
