| Well, we filed our tax returns today for the year ending June 2007 & I'm pleased to say that we came out slightly in front. We had sold our investment property last October because it was a huge drain on our finances and we've felt the benefits greatly since cutting it loose! We hadn't had it for long so didn't really make much of a profit, after factoring in all expenses, but we'd reckoned on paying up to half of what little we did make back in Capital Gains Tax. Because it's a smallish amount we don't have to pay any back but we're using it to pay for our holiday to Ireland...flights/accomodation/car-hire AND NOW we'll have some left over for spending money...woohoo! I'm looking forward to a good time! DH and I are doing the 'HAPPY DANCE' ...except I can do it better than him
