This is a favorite of mine. I store it in an old Oxi-Clean container.

Stain Remover

1 cup powdered cascade (purchase on sale with coupon)
1 cup Clorox II (purchase on sale with coupon)
5 gallons hot water

Soak overnight
You can mix up the recipe and use it all at once or I mix the dry ingreds and keep stored in a cool dry place. Then when I need to soak some items I use 2 scoops (scooper left from old oxi clean) in a kitchen sink full of hot water. I used to do all at once and soak the items in the washer but it is wasteful doing like that if you only have 1-2 items.

Is cloroxII ,,bleach for colored clothing?
And cascade is dishwashing soap,,,right?

My husband and I aeem to get these oil looking spots on clothing,,mainly shirts,,just not sure what we got into that made these stains stay!..I think I will try this on them if the clorox is for colors.

Another Mock Ox-clean recipe

1 cup hot water
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide

Directions:

Mix ingredients. To use on clothes, soak the clothing in it for 20 minutes to overnight; then wash as usual.
