| Does anyone use micro-fibre cleaning cloths?
I was reading the packaging in the hardware store today, they had one in the auto section for $3.99 for cleaning car windscreens with just the cloth and a spray of water (it's also machine washable). They also had one in the home cleaning section for $3.99 that claimed to clean glass AND chrome/steel with no need for chemical cleaners (it was also machine washable). I like the idea of not using the cleaning agents but wonder if they'd be effective without... ...I suppose they're worth trying out for $4!!!
I did buy a bathroom sponge recently at the supermarket...bit like a magic eraser on one side (for cleaning grime & scum) and a chamois side. It actually worked without using my cleaner, I was surprised but it's starting to break up around the edges after a few uses A little disappointed with that one, but I suppose the cloths might be different. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| | I've used the micro-fiber cloths on windows. They work OK. I use one wet to wash the window and one dry to dry the window. I still prefer white vinegar and water and then I use an old squiggy to wipe the window dry. You can also use an old windshield wiper from your car. |
