We've decided to trial a different BATHROOM cleaner this month.

Please share your thoughts on price and performance comparisons.

You could even try out a homemade cleaner if you wish.

I tried something last night that I read. It said use the same soap that cleanses your body. Well I have been accumulating soap slivers in a netted sponge as dh refuses to use liquid soap and even refuses to use the bars of soap beyond a certain point so I save them. While in the shower I took the netted sponge got it wet and lathered up and scrub the shower walls and tub and then rinsed. It shined and was even a little slippery. It actually cleaned better than the Works tub and tile cleaner. I did not the The Works tub and tile cleaner as it left a white residue over all surfaces that the soap took off after it being there for 1 week.

I often fill a spray bottle with dishsoap and water to clean with. It works well, is cheap..and I figure if it's good enough to clean what I eat from...it must be good enough for surfaces...I often go through and spray lysol on surfaces to kill germs.
But...I want to try a really good smelling produst as I NEVER indulge in cool cleaning products!

I keep a spray bottle with a bleach and water solution in it in the kitchen and bathroom and use to spray down surfaces every day or more often if needed to sanitize. I would just clean with it but I am ruining so many clothes!

kim, have you tried putting a little essential oil into the spray?

I have put drops of lavendar oil into my mop bucket when mopping floors and the house smells so nice afterwards!

Was just wondering if anyone has tried anything and want to report back? I am hoping to purchase something new this weekend to try. Does anyone know anything about the Pledge Multisurface cleaner??

Actually, for some time I've been wanting to purchase a bathroom cleaning cloth (microfibre I believe) that 'supposedly' doesn't require additional cleaning agents. I haven't been shopping yet this month, except for milk, but I'll put it on my list and try it out this month. It is a bathroom cleaner after all...just in a different way..lol.
I'll post later how it works out after trialling one.
