there was an article on tv the people from the state were asked to buy food for a family of four for a week - no a one could do and they had $ 117 I was in tears when I hear that they say 2 out of 5 children in North Carolina go to bed hungry .

| Skinflint and Gayla,thanks...I try my best! I actually am a very disorganized person by nature, but there have been times in the past when there was hardly any food and even less money. I did not want to feel the resulting panic brought on by that situation anymore, so I have become very organized when it comes to the budget, the shopping and keeping a stock-up. It is a bit like an insurance policy for hard times. We recently had a month were there was not much extra money and I was so thankful that I could shop at home! Gayla,it is so sad that many children are going hungry in this country! _________________ MARY |
