| I read this online today,, it said if you use dryer sheets alot,it can shorten the life of your dryer and also take longer to dry clothes.
It said that the dryer sheets over time leave a film on the lint screen,,which in turns affects the use of the dryer.
To help repair this,,they said to take your screen trap out and after you clean it off as usual run a stream of water over it.If the water dosent drain then theres a film on it from the dryer sheets.Wash with warm water and gentle brushing will clean it off.

| I stopped using dryer sheets several months ago, mainly because of my families' skin sensitivities, but I have noticed that my clothes still look good and wrinkle free if I shake them out right away and hang them, they still smell mildly fresh but not overpoweringly stinky, lol, and yes I have also noticed that they do not take as long to dry...wow..now I want back all the money I have spent on those sheets and liquids!!

| I use dryer sheets in the winter for static. I clean my lint catcher under hot soapy water in the Spring
