To remove hairspray on bathroomw mirror use rubbing alcohol and soft cloth
Remove stain or mark from wallpaper using a piece of crustless bread.
Use a drop of cooking oil on a papertowel to remove price tag goo
Removing chewing gum from carpet - wrap ice cube in plastic wrap and hold it against gum. When harden pull off.
Pretreat ring around the collar - apply a mix of equal parts water and regular oil free shampoo.
To remove rust stains in sink or tub - pour hydrogen peroxide and sprinkle cream of tartar. Let sit for 30 mins then clean with damp cloth or sponge. Repeat if necessary
Take spray bottle and slightly dampen fireplace ashes before starting to scoop or sweep to prevent flying all over
Keep narrow ne3cked vases and stemmed glassware sparkling by putting 1-2 denture cleaning tablets inside and filling with water. Wait 24 hours and rinse clean
Use hairpsray to remove ink from clothes.
Dingy curtains or clothes can be helped by adding a half cup of electric dishwashing detergent to regular detergent
Paste of baking soda and water to removed crayon marks from wall
Sprinkle baking soda on car windshield, lights and chrome to scrub gently to remove bugs
Use baby shampoo fopr fine delicates
Fill soft soap container with cheap liquid diswashing detergent and make it antibacterial by adding a bit of ammonia or bleach
Goop handcleaner and a toothbrush will get almost any stain out of clothes and tennis shoes
To keep silverware tarnish free and to save on silver cleaners keep a piece of chalk in silverware box or cabinet
use kerosene to clean and kill mildew off tiles in bathroom
To wash a tie - put in jar filled with small amount detergent and shake. Rinse and dry flat
Put stained plastic containers outside to dry in the sun to remove the stains
Put a few bath towels in the washing machine when you wash your shower curtain. The towels as they rub back and forth against the curtain remove soap scum
Put ammonia in an aluminum pie pan and place in oven overnight. Wipe down with a damp sponge next morning
Place a piece of foil shiny side up on bottom of glass bowl or pan. Fill with a solution made of boiling water and few tablespoons baking soda. Soak silverware.
The best way to remove soap scum from showers - when finished showering take and rub bar soap on your washcloth and wipe down and rinse
Use mismatched socks as dusters on your hands.
Remove pet hair from upholstery using a damp sponge
To remove rust from tools - make paste 2 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp lemon juise. Apply to rust with a dry cloth and rub _________________ Vicki
