Cellular Shades - Layers of pleated polyester or cotton blend fabric fused together in a honeycomb shape insulate windows with pockets of trapped air

Insulated Shades - Layers of fabris with some form of thermal backing reduces drafts

Wood blinds - Overlapping slats block cold air when closed

Some shades and blinds have an R-value. Higher numbers indicate better insulation
